Edwin here,

letting anyone who cares know that I'm hoping to be more active in the coming months, been a bit inactive focusing on mental health but now I think I'm finally back to feeling alright again. I'm glad to see people enjoying the content I put out and happier to see people curious about things in my artwork.

I'll kinda do a quick sum up on what's been going down but basically I've just been slowly working my way out of MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) and GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder). It's been weighing me down for a few years and messing up my head. During all this time I'd been doing art but it had been slowly going down hill, going from being able to do animated projects from a small amount of drive over several weeks, to only being able to do an artwork if I complete it in an hour or so. Eventually I just couldn't draw or make anything. So that most recent piece was actually after sitting on being motivated to do art again for a while and getting used to feeling that and using that again.

So I'm really grateful and glad that it was frontpaged and that it was received well. It's the first piece in years where I finished it and actually felt tired, but really happy and proud of what I had done and accomplished.

That's why for once hitting something like this actually feels really nice instead of the pessimistic attitude of "nothing changes" I had before.
